Manta de crochet de 2011 / 2011 Granny Squares Blanket

Em 2011, fiz esta manta de granny squares. Começei-a no dia 1 de Junho e acabei-a no fim do ano: seis meses a fazê-la! A manta não é muito grande, mas é perfeita para uma cama de criança. Actualmente, estou a fazer outra manta de granny squares, mas para uma cama de casal. Mostro-Vos os progressos num outro post (imagino quantos seis meses demorarei a acabá-la...).

In 2011, I made this granny squares blanket.  I started in the first of June and I finished it at the end of the year: six months hooking! Is not too big, but is perfect for a child´s bed! Actually, I am making a double size bed blanket and I will show you the progress in a future post (I am wondering how many six months it will take me to finish it...).

Caderno de crochet / Crochet Notebook



Com os preparativos próprios da época (muito poucos e apressados este ano), a trabalhar na véspera de Natal e com uma bebé de 7 meses, tem sobrado muito pouco tempo para o blog. Espero poder dedicar-me mais em 2013!

Aproveito para Vos mostrar um simples “caderno de crochet”, que resolvi fazer, para os projectos maiores: acho interessante registar os pontos que usei, o tipo e a cor da lã, o número de novelos e também o seu custo. Espero mostrar-Vos esses números quando acabar a manta (que será quando?!)

With the Christmas preparations (few and very rushed this year), at working on Christmas Eve and with a baby of seven months old, I haven’t had time to blog. I hope to get more time for it in the next year!

However, I take the opportunity to show you a simple “crochet notebook” I have created for largest crochet projects: I think is interesting to know later the stiches that I´ve used, the kind and color of wool, the number of yarns and also its cost. I hope to show you these numbers when I finished the blanket (which it will be when?)

Granny Squares

Adoro fazer Granny Squares. É que dá imenso prazer fazer e ver crescer pequenos montinhos destes quadrados em crochet.

A possibilidade quase infinita de se combinar cores e o facto de se conseguir completar um projecto em pequenas partes super portáteis, torna-os simplesmente viciantes.

O F ofereceu-me "The Granny Square book" - um livro só de quadrados em crochet e estou ansiosa por experimentar alguns deles.

Os Granny Squares podem ser juntos para fazer malas, echarpes, mantas e muitos outros projectos em crochet.

Actualmente estou a fazer uma manta para uma cama de casal, um WIP que deixo para outro post.

I love making Granny Squares. There's just something about creating little piles of them that is immensely pleasing.

The infinite color combinations and the fact of being able to complete a project in such tidy, portable little parts is very addicted!

F gave me "The Granny Square Book" with a lots of different Granny Squares and I´m looking forward to try some of them.

Granny squares can be joined to make handbags, afghans and other craft projects.

I'm currently working on a bed sized afghan, a WIP that I´ll show you in another post.

Casacos de bebé / Baby´s cardigans

No Inverno passado, ainda antes da minha bebé nascer, fiz-lhe três casaquinhos em crochet. O azul escuro foi uma das peças que ela vestiu assim que nasceu!

During the last Winter, even before my baby´s born, I crocheted three little cardigans for her. She wore the blue one just after her birth!

WIP: Granny squares blanket

 

Comecei uma manta em crochet, feita com granny squares. Trabalhar com várias cores é muito menos monótono e, para quem (como eu) gosta de concluir tarefas é um prazer começar e acabar cada um destes quadradinhos (que, ainda por cima, tornam a peça super portátil).

Espero daqui a alguns meses (!!!) ter a manta pronta!

 

I began a granny squares blanket. Working with a lot of colors is much more funnier and, for who (like me) loves to finish tasks is a pleasure to start and finish each one of this little squares (that making the work very portable).

I hope in a few months (!!!), have the blanket ready!

Botinhas de bebé / Baby slippers

Fiz estas botinhas para a minha bebé e ficaram muito amorosas. São em crochet e o modelo é do livro "cute & easy crochet" de Nicki Trench.

I made these baby slippers for my baby and in my opinion they become very cute. They are made in crochet and the pattern is from the book "cute & easy crochet" from Nicki Trench.
